MISSION & VISION STATEMENT

Vision Statement

To see believers in Christ mature and conform to the image of God's Son, Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:29).

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to encourage lost humanity to repent and believe in the gospel by confessing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
-Mark 1:14-15; Romans 10:9-10; Matt. 28:18-20; Daniel 7:14; Rev. 14:6-7.

16-POINT STRATEGIC PLAN

The Word of God is the very foundation upon which Christ the King Church is established. This Word is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Jn. 1:1; 6:63). We will depend solely on the Word of God to bring sons and daughters to the kingdom of God. God's Word is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth (Rom. 1:16). This Word is inerrant and was written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

We depend on the God kind of Faith to win the lost to Christ, disciple God's children, heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, etc. We will do this by encouraging every person at CKC to believe in every single Word of God (Heb. 11:1-40; 2 Chro. 20:20; Mark 11:12-14, 20-24). We do this because the Christian is called to walk by faith and not by sight -
(2 Cor. 5:7).

We are committed to depending on the power of the Holy Spirit to call people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We do this through the Holy Spirit's manifestation in the Anointing, the Seven-fold Spirit, the Gifts of the Spirit, Healing, Deliverance, Meeting the physical needs of people, etc.

We are committed to preaching and teaching the whole counsel of God with simplicity to produce faith in the children of God (Acts 2:42; 20:27; Josh. 1:8; Ezra 7:10; Rom. 10:17). We believe that as God's people keep hearing and doing what the word of God says, they will become matured saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-16).

We are committed to a life of intimacy with Jesus Christ and other members of His body. We do this through Bible reading and study, Bible Meditation, Praise and Worship, Prayer and Fasting, and the breaking of bread (Acts 2:42; Josh. 1:8; Ps. 1:1-3).

We are committed to love the Lord our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our strength, and with all our mind; and our neighbour as ourself (Lk. 10:27; 1 Cor. 13:1-8).

We are committed to living lives that are consecrated to God and God alone (1 Pet. 1:16; Heb. 12:14; 1 Pet. 1:22; Matt. 5:8).

We believe in the biblical order of local church leadership.

-Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal head, the One in charge of the church (Isa. 9:6-7; Eph. 5:23; Col. 1:15-20).
-Plurality of Elders: It is our believe that the local church is governed by a plurality of elders who are led by a lead elder/pastor. These people see to the preaching and teaching of the word of God, and give oversight to the local church (Eph. 4:11; Acts 20:17; Titus 1:5; James 5:14).
-Deacons: Deacons are individuals who help/serve to enable the elders execute their functions (Acts 6; Philip. 1:1; 1 Tim. 3:8-13)
We are committed to teaching and practicing the leadership principles that enabled Jesus Christ to transform the world. These principles include the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of Wisdom, the Spirit of Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel, the Spirit of Might, the Spirit of Knowledge, the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord (Isa. 11:2); humility, obedience, and servanthood (Philip. 2:5-11), etc.

We are committed to team/body ministry. This is because all Christians are kings and priests unto God. We are ready and willing to use all the various gifts of the Spirit that God has placed in His Church (Rev. 1:6; 1 Pet. 2:5; Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12; Eph. 4:11-16; 1 Pet. 4:10-11).

We are committed to Jesus Christ as our only Counselor. We believe Jesus counsels us all the time through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God (Isa. 9:6; Jn. 15:26; Josh. 1:8).

We teach God's children it is the will of their Father that they prosper in all things and be in health, just as their soul prospers. The children of God are called to be champions and live the dominion mandate in this earth. God commands us to prosper and have good success in every area of our lives - soul, health, marriage, parenting, relationships, jobs, finance, time, etc. (3 Jn. 2; Gen. 1:26-28; Josh. 1:8).

We believe our lives (time, money, family, etc.) are not our own, but belong to Jesus Christ (Gen. 1:26-28; Ps. 24:1).

We believe the Christian's warfare is not against people, but against Satan and his demons- principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age, and the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. We win this war daily by submitting to God (daily obedience to the word of God (Eph. 6:10-20; 2 Cor. 10:3-6; James 4:6-7).

We are committed to using the authority Jesus gave to His Church to heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise the dead (Isa. 53:4-5; 61:1-3; Ex. 15:26; Matt. 11:2-6; Matt. 10:1, 7-8; Mark 16:17-18; 1 Cor. 12:9).

The Christian God is the Supernatural and the Miraculous God.  He has the power to do all things, and nothing can stop His purpose. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Jer. 32:27; Job. 42:1-2; Heb. 13:8; Mark 16:20; Jn. 14:12). The manifestation of the God kind of Faith, the Anointing, and the Glory of God opens the door for signs, wonders, and miracles.
